Defence Composites specialise in the design and manufacture of body armour, protective clothing and a range of other products.
Since they established in 2000, Defence Composites manufactured their products exclusively for supply partners. They contacted us as they wanted to take their business in another direction and market their own products and supply them directly to the UK market.
Website development
The first task was to design a website to promote Defence Composite's range of products.
We custom built a responsive WordPress website that could be continually adapted and improved with new content and products.
Product Photography
We needed a range of products photographing for the website so we used Cliik Studios who used invisible mannequin photography to show the products at their best.
Google Ads
In order to promote the website, we started a low cost ad campaign on Google to promote their stab vest products and it soon started generating enquiries. The budget was reduced as our SEO and Google optimisation started to get results.
SEO
As we built the website, we optimised it as much as possible for Google and other search engines. Because the website was new, It needed an extra push so we used more advanced SEO strategies which proved to be successful.
It didn't happen overnight, but the website started to rank at the top of the first page on Google for a range of competitive keywords, including: 'stab vests', 'body armour manufacturer', 'canine body armour' – and therefore increased enquiries and sales.
SOCIAL MEDIA CONTENT
Posting regular content is important, so we continue to create content, including images, videos and graphics for social media to keep followers up to date with useful information and news.
ON-GOING SUPPORT
As Defence Composites develop more products, we regularly update their website and provide digital marketing so they continue to generate more sales and enquiries.
